  • As the HR Director, I led the HR, Payroll, T&D, and TA departments across 20 states in the US and 5 provinces in Canada. I worked directly with other department heads to address all issues relating to people services, from recruiting strategies to leadership development. I had a hand in anything and everything pertained to the support and servicing of internal customers.
  • Oversaw 4 departments with 20 team members, across three time regions. I had 5 direct reports, some of which covered specific specialties such as HRIS management, Compliance, and Employee Health and Safety.
  • Integrated several key new platforms such as: a new ATS (PinPoint), a new review platform (Culture Amp), a new 3rd party WC program, and 3rd party leave program.
  • Help revised the employee health benefits program which lead to potential cost savings of up to $400,000 annually.
  • Created a pathway for centralization through changes in workflow processes, implementing a Jira ticketing system that allowed for service to not be locked down by region/territory

  • I managed HR programs for the Processing Division of Pacific Seafood Group which includes operations in CA, OR, WA, AK, HI, and Canada. I was a conduit for HR programs from corporate to the processing locations working with GM's from each respective processing centers. Provided HR support to GM's who lacked dedicated HR personnel. Assisted in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs for the entire company.
  • Coached and managed a team of 6 HR Managers in different remote locations. Provided guidance on staffing issues, developing programs, managing leaders, and assisted in recruiting as needed. Focused on developing each HR managers to utilize their strengths while finding ways to shore up their weaknesses through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Revamped recruiting. Created an intern curriculum that united both Team Member Services and Marketing. Revamped job descriptions to further match our social media presence. Developed our employer value proposition to better reflect the values and benefits of working with our company.
  • Oversaw H2B Visa Workers program that worked with agents all across the world and assisted in recruiting, managing, coordinating travel, processing necessary VISA and social security documents, developed housing plans, creating contracts, and additional support as needed to ensure the program continues to succeed.

  • Working with key stake holders of each department, I created the HR program for the whole hospital. Lead the charge as a champion of culture, honing in on a priority of safety within a high-reliability organization. I served as a consultant to department heads in all disciplines of HR. Built the hospital team from 1 employee to a team of 200.
  • Created salary grids for key positions that would offer equitable wages based on experience and education. Worked with department leaders to build out their own respective teams by providing advice, strategies, and support. Built out hiring and orientation processes as well as developed, coordinate, and facilitate NHO along with the executive team.
  • Provided coaching to executive team regarding staff performance management. Tutor key leaders in correct progressive disciplining, Performance Improvement Plans, 9 Box Talent Mapping, Hi-Po Succession Planning, as well as act as a guide through review processes.

I revised key metrics for the current review process in order to align them closer to organizational needs. I helped the company win an award and a spot on Oregon’s Top Workplaces 2017 list.
  • Created and facilitated management learning events. Helped create curriculum for the Guten University, a next level leadership program that incorporates in-class and experiential learning. Worked directly with GM and potential leaders to build training maps to ensure young talent has an opportunity to be developed.
  • Utilized technology in order to create more efficient and accurate processes. Set up and rolled out Employee Self Service in order to create a more streamlined onboarding process. This process allowed managers to save up to 2-4 hours per new employee as well as pushing the company to a much more sustainable business with less paper waste.
  • Revised review process, job descriptions, and hiring process into a singular focus. This ensured that we hired the right people for the right jobs, and reviewed them based on the job we promised them. This helped align and further define our company culture to create a stronger employer value proposition.
  • Reduced turnover rates by identifying areas for improvement within the workplace and addressing employee concerns proactively.
