Founded and successfully managed the company and the team through the financial crisis and expanded US institutional investor coverage from the Italian equity core product to pan-European equity sectors including financials, luxury, defense, utilities & infrastructure. Subsequently also added a fixed income product.
Implemented corporate access/US roadshows as a core strategy which, coupled with the extensive primary business (IPO's and ABB's) and marketing coordination with the research and sales trading, , has made Mediobanca a highly recognized brand among US international investors and company managements.
Overall, the business was profitable from the start of activity (B/D license awarded July 2007) and within 4 years was able reimburse the parent for the $2 million start-up capital.
Developed entrepreneurial sklii sets to implement the necessary infrastructure including finding/furnishing the office space and implementing IT/Trading systems, HR/Payroll, Accounting, Compliance (was acting CCO until 2025), and hiring and managing a sales team.

Did the same for Financial sector research and coordinated with the head of the team based in Paris.

Transferred to the US team as an Italian country specialist after working for Giubergia-Warburg in Milan. Successfully pursued the objective of increasing the penetration of the Italian research, which was #1 rated, with US institutional investors directly and provide the generalist sales force support on the complexities Italian domestic market- this was key in view of the era of Italian privatizations where UBS was the leading investment bank in this process. Coordinated closely with ECM as US deal captain in successful placement of Italian privatization IPO's.
