Summary
The first day was rough, but over the summer, all of the other employees were able to help guide and point me in the right direction. It took time to get used to the register, but not too long. Only during July of 2023, did the company received new registers, allowing each employee and manager to learn the new system. When it came to the holiday seasons, I was often assigned to training the new people how to use the registers, look up orders, show them where everything was, and how to take money. Though I was a cashier, it wasn't my only job. I also helped make the food, such as sides, dinners, and the lunches that they had.
