• VC and Audio conference setup and support with VC system like Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco units and TMS
• Daily room check and certification, test calls to our management site as well as managing over 200 conference rooms on BP site.
• Monitoring and offering support to the BP emergency response room Polycom equipment, Telepresence, phones, switchers, touch panels, desk computers and the equipment rack.
• Liaising with IT department, helpdesk and receptionist so as to provide quality and excellent service to clients
• Setup and initiate audio conference calls, Video conference calls, telepresence, bridging calls, site to site and multisite.
• Technical Housekeeping duties: Making sure we shut down systems at the end of the business day, room checks, cables are properly wound up, TVs, fixed data projectors and room computers are properly turned off as well as the lights.
• Help desk and phone support for onsite clients.
• Hardware diagnosis fault checking & first line repairs to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Event setup, digital signage management and sound system management.
• Carry out hardware refresh, projector installation and updates.
• Performing preventative maintenance checks and cable management as well as changing faulty extron switchers and installing Polycom units in conference rooms.
• AV support for executives and board of director meetings at Oracle, E&Y, BP, UBS.
• Experience of Crestron, AMX and Cisco panel operation.
• Setting up and managing Telepresence room meetings
• Carry out all power down / up of 50 conference rooms, involving out-of-hours overtime commitments
• Delivering ad-hoc and planned training to client's to enable better use of the facilities.
• Liaison with internal and external clients with respect to providing excellent service.
• Occasional travel to other TFL underground stations when I covered at transport for London to repair, update and install software on computer systems for clients as well as smart learning equipments.
• Setting up distance learning room equipment; smart boards, touch panel, projectors, polycom units
• Managing VCs and Telepresence remotely for client sites in London, Hungry, Munich, Moscow, Silver Spring using Cisco TMS
• Offered event support, which included pre-event testing, liaising with clients, attending pre-event meetings. Working with Oracle company schematics software in setting rooms according to client specifications for presentation, seminars, workshop etc.
• Moving mobile TV carts from room to room for setup and presentations.
• Setting up and testing sound system at Universal Music, VC setup and support also.
• Making sure handheld mics, lapels, mixers and speakers are properly setup for events.
• Prepare monthly stats on demand of room equipment, faults and system failures.
