Facility & HSE Engineer

• Execute site infrastructure maintenance (including lab gas supply infrastructure) and equipment repairs.
• Responsible for the overall quality assurance of the site operations & Lab process area.
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
• Support new experimental set-up (Lab prototypes) and commissioning / start-up “mechanical, electrical “and decommission of old experiment, storage and/or disposal.
• Manage and maintain official records for MOC, QSTP records (DCRs, SWFs, RFIs and RFIT) and site drawings
• Focal point uninterrupted operation utility air compressors (including upkeep spare parts), Supervision maintenance air compressor.
• Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
• Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
• Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
• Coordinating site safety programs. Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees.

HSE Engineer

Qatar Shell Al Mirqab Tower- West Bay
• Site- Permit to work (PTW) Authorizer & issuer.
• Site- Emergency response plan (ERP) focal point
• Site- Behavior based safety (BBS) Trainer / Mentor.
• Weekly / Monthly inspections of all areas to ensure implementation of QHSE policies and practices
• Direct all subcontractors to ensure high quality services with safest possible way are delivered to the client
• Conduct safety audits and inform management of any prospect of activity development and any potential direct or indirect problem for the company
• Safety Critical asset assessment & management for Al Mirqab tower.
• Lead technical root cause investigations and elaborate comprehensive technical reports
• Responsible for ensuring key assets are maintained economically, efficiently, and safely according to good engineering practices and to prolong life of systems

• Coordinating in complete project engineering & design freeze.
• Check & comment external documents (Partners, Sub contractors) and manage & check the interface data (type, dimensions, location etc.)
• Onsite HSE plan monitoring of embedded parts, foundation bolt position in concrete & erection work of condenser.
• Build-up Safe erection methodology for major power plant equipment’s like EOT crane, Condenser, Generator Stator, Heater, De-aerator, Turbine driven BFP & CEP Pump.
• Updating 3D model in all stages of projects (Concept through study phase up to detail engineering)
• Having technical & time schedule responsibility for the engineering work and/or services assigned by Lead.
• Modelling & Extraction of Drawings for Civil Foundation, Structure.

• Read & understand all the requirement of the project for their respective discipline. Review the documents & provide appropriate comments / recommendations and discuss them with line manager / contractors or suppliers.
• Participated in 3D model review (30%, 60% & 90%) with client at various stages of the project.
• Pipe supports Modelling, Support Structure and Equipment modeling in PDMS.
• As-built modification & close client review tags.
• Clash & model check through Navis works to maintain consistency between updated P&ID.

• Assisting project managers & other end user group, Handling site queries related to design & engineering.
• Responsible for ensuring that the engineering / construction scope of the project is delivered on time, at right quality.
• Site Visits & checking of compliance & Health & Safety Audits at site.
• Selection of equipment for industrial/residential/ application such as chillers, AHUs, Ventilation Fan, cooling towers, pump, compressors, condenser, separator etc.
• Checking of steel structural Drawings for Industrial, Residential, and commercial complexes structures like Column, beam, Bracing, Trusses, miscellaneous, etc.

• Time study, work study, method study, line balancing, material handling.
• Erection & commissioning of new liquid coating paint blade plant.
• Capacity enhancement of plant/units by improving production techniques & improved layout.
• Procurement of machinery Items & other capital items.
