• Analysis of claims including compensability, medical records, exposure, statutes, and case law.
• Collaborate with clients to develop legal strategy for resolution of claims.
• Develop evidence, take and defend depositions, and appear before Administrative Law Judges.
• Mediate claims before Administrative Law Judges.
• Negotiate settlements to achieve desired outcome for client and minimize potential litigation costs.

• Engaged in strategic planning, review, analysis, and allocation of local and overseas budgets

• Defended the State of Missouri in all aspects of Workers' Compensation/Second Injury Fund cases.
• Depositions of claimants and experts, medical records reviews, and facilitation and negotiation of settlements.
• Trained, evaluated, and managed attorneys and law clerks in addition to managing a trial docket.
• Researched and drafted legal briefs and conducted appeals and oral arguments before the Supreme Court of Missouri, Court of Appeals, and Labor and Industrial Relations Commission.

Selected to represent St. Louis University School of Law to recruit prospective students on national and regional levels.
