I've spent the last handful of years working in the academy as a graduate student. I've been lead instructor for multiple courses, a teaching assistant for more than a dozen different professors, and a research assistant. I have experience in the service industry, in both food and retail from before my time as a graduate student.
I taught two courses at UBC (bioethics and introduction to cognitive systems). This involved building lesson plans, promoting a positive learning environment, interacting with students regularly, and assessing their performance.
