I am currently a combat medic (68W) in the North Carolina Army National Guard. I am back from training and now plan to pursue medical work.
Finished training program at Fort Sam Houston, earning both my BLS and my NREMT certifications.
Prepared for practical, on-the-job experience to enhance skills.
I learned a-lot and enjoyed my work here.
Shoveled and leveled asphalt.
Operated machinery such as rollers and broom effectively.
Restocked meat and produce
Managed night shift efficiently.
Counted money in registers and in the safe, assigned roles to the crew and closed the store at the end of the night.
The thing I am MOST proud of (career wise) is joining the military and finishing my nearly 7 months of training. including my basic combat training and my advanced individual training where I earned my BLS and NREMT certifications. I went on a final 8 day field exercises, finishing in a 8 mile ruck to the top of a place called Bunker Hill where I was given my AMEDD Insignia. Very proud of this.
