• During my observership in neurology at a leading UK hospital, I rotated through various specialties including stroke (ICU, PCU Consults), the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), general neurology, and outpatient settings.
• Each week brought unique learning opportunities, from pre-rounding with residents to presenting cases to attendings during rounds.
• Under the guidance of attentive attendings and residents, I participated in patient counseling, discussing treatment options and providing support to individuals and their families.
• Observed procedures like lumbar punctures directly, and delivered presentations on topics like Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), Autoimmune Encephalitis, and Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy (CAA).
• This comprehensive experience deepened my understanding of neurological disorders and treatment modalities, while fostering valuable skills and knowledge for my future career in neurology.

• Participated in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of neurological conditions from common ailments
  to rare and complex disorders.

• I was fortunate enough to examine some extremely rare diseases, including MFS, NMOSD, Sarcoid Myelopathy, Vasculitis Neuropathies, Dorsal Root Ganglionopathy, NMDA Encephalitis, Carcinomatous Meningitis, Morvan Syndrome, Metabolic Myopathies, and Nonconvulsive Status Epilepticus.
• I learned about the therapies used to treat neurological illnesses, including the use of rTPA, IvIG, plasmapheresis, steroids, and immunosuppressive drugs.
