• Mission Focused Key Challenges Project: Led a 10-person team tasked with identifying ways to align my division’s investments with company priorities

• MITRE Leaders of the Future (LOTF) Center of Excellence: Partnered with the Chief People and Corporate Strategy Officer to discuss leadership needs and gaps across the organization in a focus group setting
• Established a company-wide training Center for future leaders
• Group Leader Innovation, Development, and Empowerment (GLIDE) Program: Built and fielded a survey to understand the needs of middle-management leaders; conducted 1-on-1 interviews of 12 leaders
• Analyzed data and developed a 12-month program comprising 4 training sessions and 12 social activities for developing future managers
• One MITRE Mentoring Program: Annually plan, design, and lead a 2-part program for employees across the organization on 'Workplace Diplomacy'
• Developed hands-on exercises to improve diplomacy skills, enhance verbal and non-verbal communication, break down barriers to approachability, and manage challenging workplace situations
• Enterprise Computing, Information, and Security Work Planning and Time Management Initiative: Implemented a survey to identify trends in how employees track allocations and report time
• Made 10 recommendations on how to improve work planning within the organization
• Resulted in a novel limited-feature time-reporting system with new integration points, display enhancements, and user customization features
• Organizational Needs Assessment: Led a 10-person team that gathered data from a company-wide pulse survey to inform decisions regarding technical areas of expansion, staff development, and operational efficiency
• Resulted in 10 recommendations for hiring and staff development
• Adjuncts and Advocates Initiative: Designed and fielded a program to engage with former employees and friends of MITRE
• Increased membership from 76 to 130 members in 6 months

• Managed multiple research contracts and streamlined research processes to meet tight deadlines

• Workplace Strategy Project: Led a 12-person team to conduct a company-wide survey on identifying employee needs for a new soon-to-be-constructed corporate facility
• Led an assessment of employee space needs and usage, privacy requirements, work schedules, and other emerging needs
• Resulted in 22 space allocation guidelines for the new corporate office that was inaugurated in 2021

• Served as the primary spokesperson to the Obama Administration for all human-centered research
• Convened 16 public conferences and research workshops with experts
• Led, coached, and mentored 20+ staff members; Worked with Deputy and Executive Director to oversee the financial viability of the Board
