• Partnered with ITAOs (IT Application Owners) to gather network environment requirements and coordinated with support teams to deploy Guardicore agents in monitoring more for initial traffic observation.
• Scheduled weekly and monthly business reviews to update Directors/VPs about current stats of the project.
• Coordinated cross-functional teams and ensured project milestones were met, balancing business objectives, security controls, and vendor deliverables.
• Collaborated with L3 technical engineers to streamline daily operations through the automation of routine tasks, significantly reducing manual workloads and integrating robust reporting mechanisms to generate proactive alerting.
• Led the Zero Trust network segmentation implementation, ensuring security policies aligned with organizational compliance standards.
• Actively worked with Datalake team to automate and develop dashboards for Network Segmentation Operational metrics in terms of agent health and policy efficiency.
• Conducted 60-day traffic analysis to baseline network traffic flows, ports, and IPs, collaborating with security engineers to define and enforce policies, blocking unauthorized connections while minimizing business disruption.
• Managed BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities including baseline updates, quiet list maintenance, and issue resolution to ensure ongoing compliance and operational stability.
• Executed the Quiet List Update process, ensuring ports with recurring activity over 60 days were correctly classified, reducing false positives and strengthening network defenses.
• Oversaw the Guardicore Agent Inventory Optimization initiative, identifying and descaling agents in prolonged monitoring mode or uninstall unused agents to optimize costs and resource utilization.
• Performed daily Guardicore agent health checks, detecting and remediating agents that failed to enforce policies due to error states, thereby maintaining network safety and uptime.
• Worked towards re-certifying the Guardicore agent certificates which usually tend to expire after a two-year duration.
