ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Having 4+ years of experience in IBM Spectrum Protect (IBM Tivoli Storage Manager) ,Commvault, Networker backup tools.

· Good working experience on Tivoli Storage Manager 8.x and (on Both Windows & UNIX platforms) and Commvault.

• Experience in Installation and Upgradation Administration of TSM server/client on all UNIX, AIX and windows servers. Supporting 24 /7 production environments.

• Monitor & manage day-to-day backup and recovery activities including server availability & administrative processes.

• Installation, configuring and troubleshooting of TDP for Oracle, and VMware backups and monitoring.

• Performed different kinds of restorations including full VM restores.

• Defining and configuring domains, policy Settings, management classes & copy groups as per Customer requirement.

· Scheduling of automatic backup on TSM Client Windows & UNIX Servers.

· Restoring the backed-up data according to end user requirement. Performed File/folder level restores and cross node restorations.

· Coordinate with system administrators to resolve issues related to TSM on clients backups.

· Ability to rapidly learn new concepts together with excellent interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES ON COMMVAULT :

➢ Experience in Commvault Backup tool.

➢ Monitor daily Commvault activity and reporting to proactively avoid issues.

➢ Configuring the new backups as per the Requests.

➢ Troubleshoot and resolve missed and failed Commvault backups.

➢ Knowledge on virtualization and VMware Backups

➢ Document the standards and procedures for installing and configuring Commvault servers and clients,
