XEROX DISCOVERY MULTI FUNCTIONAL PRINTER SERVICES.
Developing the Copy Control Software(CCS) module of Multi Functional Printers using C++, OOPS, Multithreading, Data Structures with Linux platform. CCS is the software that controls all the other software's and hardwares in the MFPs.
Architecture and Design Implementations:
- Gathering and reviewing the inputs and specs documents from Product Owners and System Engineers.
- Understanding the existing architecture flow and code bases.
Validating the test cases before making the code changes. - Discussing and providing a better design implementations for Re-branding the already existing project into new product.
- Understanding the use cases of applications and analyzing the worst scenarios to avoid failures.
Development: - Developed and implemented the re-branded product from scratch within stipulated time.
- Writing effective and efficient code changes. Running unit test with new changes to avoid code breakage in other modules.
- Validated the new product by testing various test cases scenario's before launching.
- Incase of failures, will analyze and identify the root cause from logs and provide appropriate fix.
- Addressing code review commands and code promotion. Porting the code changes to different streams.
- Delivering the products on time and got 100% customer satisfaction feedback.
Other Activities: - Analyzing the Triage events and providing the inputs to which team should investigate further.
- Developing Unit test for different functions in scan module.
- Monitoring the device status which means that taking care of my team devices which behaves in abnormal manner.
