Basic groundhand duties for linework. Job consists of framing and setting power poles in ground, digging holes, and operating equipment.

• Used variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks.
• Moved and cleared debris from work sites to dispose of in designated areas.

Followed shipping schedule and made sure my shift was staying on task. Job consisted of rearranging schedule to accommodate for the production of the mill. I also pulled in and out trailers that needed to be loaded as well as scaling them in and out followed by making BOL’s.

• Handled high-volume paperwork and collaborated with administrators to resolve invoicing and shipping problems.
• Ensured accurate documentation for all shipments, complying with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implemented quality control measures for incoming shipments, minimizing damaged goods and ensuring product integrity.
• Established effective communication channels across departments, leading to smoother coordination of activities related to shipments.
• Utilized forklift or pallet truck to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Worked on a line boat transporting rock up and down river. Job consisted of building and breaking tow as well as checking barges.

• Performed maintenance tasks such as painting, chipping rust, and greasing equipment to extend the lifespan of onboard assets.
• Inspected and tested safety equipment and emergency response systems.
• Laid and transferred rigging, safely handled lines, and checked tow for vessels.
