Preston King

I'm a senior ranked first in my class with a strong passion for leadership, academics, and being involved in my school community. I'm active in multiple clubs and honor societies, including Student Council, National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, FFA, and Yearbook, where I’m an editor. I was also selected for my county’s Leaders of Tomorrow program, and I love volunteering at my local food pantry. I am an actor for my school’s One Act Play company, which has advanced to the UIL area competition level for the past two years. I’ve also competed in academic UIL events each year, making my way to regional speaking finals my freshman year and becoming both the 2024 and 2025 Accounting State Champion.

I plan to pursue a degree in Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering, with the hope of expanding my knowledge and exploring the universe. I’m creative, organized, and thrive on problem-solving, and I take pride in being dependable, responsible, and motivated in everything I do.
