I have some experience detailing my own cars as well as some customer vehicles while working at BR Racing and BMW of Mountain View. I performed a basic paint correction on my 1983 BMW 533i. I did a 1 step correction on the entire car followed up by a wax. I wash my motorcycle and cars every Wednesday. I know how to use a pressure washer correctly and have some experience using an orbital polisher. I also used the orbital to wax my 2000 Z3 Coupe.
While working at BMW of Mountain View I use the pressure washer regularly to clean wheels as well as rinse off cars that are especially dirty before they are ran through the car wash. On higher end vehicles and special customers, we hand wash the cars.
At BR Racing I was taught how to use the polisher to help correct a minor scratch placed on the door handle of a Ferrari 458 caused by a customer at a neighboring business.
