- Raised water meters and water meter boxes to grade, inspect and repair site to determine what kind of repair will be made and what type of material will be needed to make repairs.
- Investigate customers complaints and provide explanations as to citizens, supervisors and managers.
- Check for low water pressures, water line issues and wastewater problems.
- Preform test cuts on main lines and shut off main for repair.
- Preform valve surveillance and value surveys.
- Preformed preventive maintenance on fire hydrants as needed.
- Able to read and interpret water maps on paper and in GIMS.

- Preforms various miscellaneous activities, such as taking photos, filing out daily activity sheets, valve sheets, pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Print water maps sewer, operates relatively complex equipment and vehicles such as trucks, backhoes, power tools, pumps, observes safety regulations and demonstrated safety to other team members to ensure steps are being followed.
