  • Runs and organizes the requirements of Payroll and DFAS control point transactions to meet schedules set by FSC, Treasury and the accounting section.
  • Generate and reviews the following recurring reports: MyPay Invalid, Non-Pay Status Report, Family Leave, New Hire, Quarterly DD/EFT report, Gain/Losses report, F&N report, CFO Costing Premium Pay report, Missing Time report, Invalid Transaction report, Conversion of Hours report, in addition to various special one-time reports requested from finance and Human Resources for special situations.
  • Provides technical support and supervision of timekeeper activities that pertain to timekeeping to ensure timekeepers adhere to VA policies.
  • Conducts annual refresher timekeeper trainings and audits.
  • Conducts extensive research to identify and resolve payroll problems.
  • Submits Remedy and FSC tickets to resolve payroll issues, process transactions and/or provide guidance for inquiries that cannot be resolved at the CSR level.
