Priya is an entrepreneur with expertise in career, business and life coaching, print and digital publishing, training and marketing . She works with clients in the private and corporate sector at a global level. Her clients are leaders in their fields including but not limited to banking, real estate, tech, the entertainment industry and the sports industry. She has extensive non-profit and higher-ed experience, with deep knowledge of fundraising, membership satisfaction and recruiting. She is an insightful leader who demonstrates empathy and grace whilst being driven by strategic outcomes.
In 2014, Priya published her first book Give Yourself Permission to Live Your Life (Balboa Press) that outlines a 7-stage coaching process to attain personal and professional freedom and empowerment. In 2015, the publishing company she co-founded, Permission Media, Inc., launched the Give Yourself Permission Magazine, then in 2016, Priya created, compiled and published the Give Yourself Permission Anthology. Permission Media, Inc is the umbrella company for all of PRK Coaching's e-courses, webinars, trainings, speaking engagements, facilitating, coaching and consulting.
PRK Coaching is an international company that offers support to clients as they navigate their careers, businesses, and lives. Areas of expertise and experience include creating and growing small businesses, career and professional development; leadership; confidence and self-esteem; and personal and professional development.
Priya was also the first master coach/facilitator for the Happiness Advantage: a program designed by Harvard Professor and New York Times Bestseller, Shawn Achor.
Priya was the founding Director of the USC London Office. Her primary remit was to introduce the University of Southern California (USC) to the UK and European markets. She collaborated with various departments under the Provost's Office to recruit undergraduate and graduate students, develop institutional and government relationships and partnerships, and seek internships and job opportunities for current students and recent grads. As an alumna herself she also connected with local alumni to promote university advancement worldwide.
Provided therapy for adults, children, couples and families affected by Parkinson’s disease (PD), AD, stroke, epilepsy, narcolepsy and multiple sclerosis (MS). Conducted research on the efficacy of, and developed a protocol for, psychological support pre-, during and post- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) implant surgery for PD patients.
