  • Pre-surgical: Assisted with patient care by intaking patients, measuring vitals, taking EKGs under supervision, and preparing the exam room for patients to have their pre-surgical labs taken and receive final consults from physicians.
  • Anesthesiology: Shadowed anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and anesthesia technicians. Assisted anesthesia techs with setting up and restocking anesthesia equipment both inside and outside of the OR. Observed anesthesia administration and patient monitoring during surgeries, gaining firsthand exposure to surgical and anesthesia procedures, clinical workflows, safety protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • ED: Greeted and directed incoming patients and visitors upon arrival to the ER. Transported patients safely using wheelchairs and stretchers.
