• Geometric and Road Widening, placement of and performs tests on construction materials, checks lines, grades, dimensions, elevations using standard survey and field engineering equipment, and enforces the installation of E&S controls and safety devices.
• Assures that the Contractor is in compliance regarding Maintenance of Traffic and complying with the Traffic Management Plan. Maintains project records which include daily diaries, materials notebooks, and pay quantity records.

• Road works MD 5 ( Point Lookout Road ) Intersection Improvement at Abell / Moakley Streets ( Phase 1B ) in Saint Mary’s County.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide inspection works on ongoing operations in the project.

2. Inspects/monitors the following:

• Installation of erosion and sediments devices
• Installation of fence and guard rail
• Excavation of works (full depth for new road and ditches)
• Installation of riprap
• Placement of matting for temporary stabilization
• Placement of top soil
• Landscaping
• Concrete works of curves, gutter, median, side walks and traffic concrete barrier
• installation of inlets, manhole and concrete pipes.
• HMA placement
• Laying of under drain pipes.
• Installation of sewer pipes
• Placement and compaction of GAB
• Excavation for full depth construction
• Safety condition of the workers
• Construction of Stream BMP-SWM facilities

3. Prepares and submits daily reports (IDR)

• Computes and sketches daily accomplishments for payment.

4. Conducts concrete tests and compaction test prepares necessary documentations after testing.

• Supervised and monitored the work of contractors (Inspection Notification) in the SPA Process Automation Division.
• Prepared a daily tracking list of priorities and weekly work program. Recorded and reported manpower activities of the sub-contractor.
• Primary area of responsibility was the (30 Inch Diameter) Crude Oil Pipe Line (TL-4 KOC). Project management AMEC.

• Responsible for civil works oil and gas projects, facilities upgrade on underground utilities, the Aromatics Complex Plant, and booster stations ( KOC).
• Supervised on sit – site civil works, distributed manpower and equipment and provided assistance to the project engineer /site engineer.
• Coordinated the inspection tea, recorded daily activities and enforced / implemented safety rule and regulations.
• Main contractor SAIPEM and Project management companies are AMEC, Bechtel, Worley & Parsons and Flour Kuwait.

• Projects included roadways, bridges/ply-over, railways and batching plants. Responsible for engineering construction management and decision making, reviewed drawings and set work quality standards, implemented company quality to ensure quality standards were maintained.
• Assessed the progress and productivity, monitored employee performance, delivered relevant programs and milestones.
• Generated and maintained the project plan, implemented the site variation procedures and checked that materials were ordered through demand fulfillment (project flow).
• Coordinated site construction with client representatives, and presented a daily report to the construction manager, ensuring that safety rules and regulations were adhered to.

• Prepared quantity take-off, submitted billing certificates to the client and sub-contractors, reported the comparative progress of BOQ to the actual execution, prepared bid documents and supplemental agreements and filled-out variation work orders.

• In charge of the survey team, reviewed drawings and established the point of coordinates per the work plan, coordinated the inspection team, recorded all data for possible change to the design, and prepared a report of daily activities.
