As an Oregon broker you have to spend 3 years with a principle broker. Robert is a friend of mine who brough me onto his brokerage Owls Nest Realty.

I am currently working with 2 clients. One is selling their home in Clackamas and the other is going to sell their home in Oregon City once they find a newer bigger home to move into.

I got my license in hopes to make a go of it prior to retiring. The market however has other plans.

The first home for sale has been on the market since August 1st and has only 3 showings. The second clients are in no hurry in finding their their next home. They have been looking since June. We do have a showing on Sunday 11/30 however.

I am 1 and half years into my "internship" with Robert. Once completed I am unsure if I will continue to try nf buy and sell homes. It's very expensive to keep your license and in my case I have to have a full time job to pa the bills.

I enjoy the work, it's just that there isn't any right now.
