I worked as a cook in the kitchen preparing safe to eat delicacies for all customers. I developed effective strategies for reducing wait times during peak hours, resulting in improved customer satisfaction. I also improved team efficiency by implementing streamlined BOH processes and procedures. I was taught on how to optimize inventory management for reduced food waste and cost savings. I also streamlined communication channels between FOH and BOH teams to improve overall restaurant efficiency. For FOH I trained new staff in front-of-house procedures, customer relations, and cleaning. Maintained a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for customers and staff. I also established welcoming atmosphere by greeting each guest warmly and enhanced customer experience by providing friendly and efficient service at the front counter and drivethru.

• I only really wanted to work for the Christmas season and earn some money while learning what retail is about
• I thought that it would be pretty cool to work at a clothing store and I gained some better fashion sense
• It was a nice experience but I didn't think that it was a permanent job for me

• I started out as a bagger and less than a month of doing so I started training to be a cashier
• After a night of training to be a cashier I started as a regular cashier and got a raise
• After two weeks of being a cashier, I signed up to be a grocery clerk and got the position
• I would help stock the shelves and direct customers in the correct direction of their purchases
• I would get called up to help check out customers from time to time
• I ended up quitting due to conflicts with my school schedule

• I did almost everything in the store
• I needed to learn how to operate every part of the store and so I learned how to do just about everything
• When managers were in a meeting I often took over and ran the shift for them until they were back
• I was a cashier, line cook, grill cook, barista, and order taker
• I also cleaned the lobby quite often and washed dishes in the back when needed
• The job ended up getting to stressful and although I can handle stress, I wasn't being paid properly for the amount of times I came in on off days and how much I did compared to others
• I didn't think that it was fair for me to only get paid minimum wage when I had asked for a raise and got rejected after working for two years while a new hire gets $12.50 off the bat and does half the work I do
