I am currently a Family Nurse Practitioner student at Walden University, eager to secure a preceptorship opportunity with your esteemed facility. My journey in healthcare spans over a decade, beginning as a certified nursing assistant and progressing to a registered nurse, with over 10 years of diverse experience. My medical background includes long-term care, where I held the position of Director of Nursing, leading a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. I have also worked in fast-paced emergency rooms and correctional facilities, which helped me sharpen my clinical instincts, quick decision-making skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
These experiences have molded me into a confident and compassionate clinician who thrives in dynamic environments and genuinely enjoys building connections with patients. As I transition into the Family Nurse Practitioner role, I am looking for a preceptorship that will challenge me and enhance my skills in comprehensive assessment and management while broadening my understanding of care throughout the lifespan. I am deeply committed to providing holistic, patient-centered care and am eager to learn from a preceptor who values teamwork, growth, and meaningful patient relationships.
