Hi, I’m

Quentin Azevedo

Corning,CA
Quentin Azevedo

Summary

I am a very hard worker, I take initiative and often mentor and lead. I work well with others. I have spent over 10 years in 4H and FFA . That time has taught me hard work, to take pride in my Swine Project and has enhanced my communication skills with adults. I have mentored 4Hers and volunteered in my community. In FFA I earned the FFA State Degree, note only 3% of California's FFA members earn this degree, requirements attached.

I have played a sport every year since the age of 5, that has taught me to work as a team, to work hard and to push through the pain to win! I have earned many awards and accolades in my sport career, I am very proud of those because it was decided by vote from my teammates and coaches, listed under education.

My mom also runs concessions for Corning Sharks Youth Wrestling Club, I helped in set-up, sales and take down serving 700-900 guests. So lots of customer service skills, organization and HUSTLE.

I am proficient in Metal Fabrication and SMAW, GMAW/MIG, FCAW and some TIG welding, attached is a letter from my Welding Instructor.

I also have some construction knowledge, I designed and built a closet for my high school's Apparel Store.

I have installed many, many miles of cattle fencing, for local ranches and in rugged mountain terrains camping for weeks at a time. I have installed and taken down the HUGE tents used for the famous Red Bluff Bull & Gelding Sale and for The Red Bluff Round-up and a few other locations, I have done that for over 5 years.

I have set irrigation for a 60 acre Almond Orchard including placing 20 inch PVC pipe underground. Operating the trencher in a nice straight lines.

I also worked picking peaches for my buddies local Peach stand in Kirkwood. Hard work, but the peaches are amazing! For fun I work out at the gym to be fit, snowboard, hike, fish.

Currently with S C Yamamoto Inc who is a sub-contractor of PGE. I work with a crew doing cleaning, general maintenance, and debris removal on over 20-PGE properties. I work a minimum of 60 hours a week. I am entrusted with the NEW company truck and a credit card for fuel and tool purchases if needed. I drive over 4000 mile a WEEK, no tickets, no accidents.

While I enjoy my job, I am looking for a life time career. I prefer the outdoors and the different job sites. I have been fortunate to come from working people. My grandfather always taught us to work hard and do our very best, your reputation means something he'd say.

I thank you for taking the time to get to know me through my words, I know I might be young for this opportunity but I have lived a life of hard work, high expectations and hustle. Like my grandfather said your reputations matters. I am confidant any call you make on my behalf will be met with respect and acknowledgment of all I have shared.

I'm READY!

Respectfully,

Quentin Azevedo
