Quinn Herman

I have 18 months of experience in the heavy equipment industry, with hands-on experience operating a wide variety of equipment across power plant construction and demolition projects.

Equipment Experience:

• Excavators: 600 hours operating Caterpillar 303, 308, 315, and 335 models, as well as John Deere 300, 350, and 470 models.
• Excavator Attachments: Skeleton bucket, magnet, crusher, hydraulic hammer, smooth bucket, and thumb.
• Dozers: 200 hours operating Caterpillar D3, D5 (high-track and low-track), and D6 models.
• Wheel Loaders: 200 hours operating Caterpillar 938, 950, and 966 models.
• Articulated Haul Trucks: 2,500 hours operating Caterpillar 730 and 745 models.
• Additional Equipment: Skid steers and rollers.

Work Experience:

• Kiewit: Worked on the Cass County Power Plant construction project.
• Manafort Brothers: Performed demolition work at the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant.

I am currently employed with Kiewit and remain a member of the union. I am looking to explore new opportunities outside the union that offer greater opportunities for professional growth, skill development, and long-term career advancement.

At 19 years old, I understand that I am still early in my career and have a great deal to learn. I bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, a willingness to take direction, and a genuine desire to improve my skills. I am eager to learn from experienced operators, take on new challenges, and grow into a highly skilled and dependable heavy equipment operator.
