Providing care for high acuity patients with Arrhythmias, post cardiac catheter and stents placement, Patients post Intervention Cardiothoracic procedures, CHF, Cardio-Vascular Accident/ Stroke patients, Patients with acute neurological issues, multiple diagnoses, Pleural Effusions, Pulmonary embolisms, among other problems.

Performing tasks as instructed by supervisor and providing feedback. Accessing special care equipments like monitors, Oxygen concentrators & pumps, tracheostomies, ventilators, amongst others.

- Pediatrics Unit - 80hrs

Responsible for providing care under supervision for children of ages between 1 - 12 years old. Obtaining, assessing and recording routine vital signs, recording patients' medical histories and symptoms, collecting specimens for laboratory testing, preparing and supervising daily patient hygiene, and also assisting caregivers with patient care and reporting to charge nurse.

- Neonate Intensive Care Unit - 80hrs

Providing care for Preterm neonates under supervision including PO feedings, nasogastric tube feedings, medication administration, incubator regulation, hygiene and caregiver education and assistance.

- Isolation Ward - 120hrs

Providing care to patients with communicable diseases, practicing all isolation precautions under supervision, Patient admissions, collecting of specimens to be tested, recording vital signs, drug administration, patient hygiene and daily care routines.

- Medical Surgical Unit - 80hrs

Providing patient care under supervision for stable post surgical and post acute care patients, would care, trach care, gtube care, oxygen therapy, baths, recording vital signs, pain management, reporting patient changes and needs to charge nurse.

- General Patient Unit - 120hrs

Mostly performing tasks under supervision as assigned by charge Nurse and reporting back. Medication administration; IV therapy, IM, subcutaneous medications, wound care, ambulation, transfers and feedings, amongst other tasks.
