While working for Progressive Logistic Services(PLS) my daily job duties and responsibilities typically involved working in the receiving dock unloading incoming merchandise from semi trailers. After unloading the merchandise, I broke down the loaded pallets, separating the individual pieces while checking for accuracy against the packing slip and Ti-Hi sheets. To accomplish this work I would use both standup & sit down forklifts as well as manual and electric pallet jacks to stage and arrange pallets for pickup and storage throughout the warehouse.

During my time with PetSmart as a department manager I was responsible for the "pet product" department consisting mainly of the canine department and associated merchandise. Ensuring accurate on hand count of our store's inventory as it pertained to both the sales floor and backroom storage/ receiving areas, ordering product and adjusting on hand counts. Maintained store appearance daily by facing merchandise and dusting to ensure a pleasant customer experience. Customer relations were a crucial aspect to my role encompassing telephone calls and face-to-face interactions where I would address customer needs and questions while exercising utmost professionalism.

During my time with Safeway as an overnight grocery stocker my duties were to quickly and efficiently breakdown incoming freight shipments and stage near the intended location where the product was to be placed onto the shelving. While maintaining clean and clutter free work space I worked at a fast pace to get the dispersed freight onto the shelves without damaging product. As an aspect of my duties I worked diligently to rotate older product, following the rule of FIFO(first in/first out) to prevent selling out of date product. At the end of night and stocking duties completed I turned my attention to the stores appearance and went isle by isle facing all the product that pertained to my area of work to ensure a pleasant customer experience.
