As an aspiring civil engineering student, I am seeking an internship position that will allow me to apply and enhance my academic knowledge in real-world projects. I am looking to gain hands-on experience in an engineering environment, and I am committed to learning from experienced professionals to further my expertise in civil engineering.
I am a motivated civil engineering student with proficiency in Civil 3D, ArcGIS, VisualAnalysis, Bluebeam, and all Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel). I have a background working for subcontractors operating excavation equipment on various jobs including commercial buildings and custom homes. This experience has allowed me to gain a hands-on understanding of the construction process and to be exposed to reading and applying project plans. I am eager to use my skills in an internship role to learn from real-world engineering projects.
