University of Memphis Guest Speaker

During my master's program at the University of Memphis, my SPED 101 teacher invited me to return to future classes for the next three years, both while I was attending and after I graduated. I presented on PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and ADHD, as I believe that understanding how you learn and what works best for you is crucial for self-advocacy. Therefore, it's essential for students to know their learning styles and the reasons behind them. This is why I strongly advocate for independence and self-advocacy.
