NDT Inspector Lead

  • Elected Lead inspector and trainer for Visual, Magnetic Particle (Wet and Dry), and Liquid Penetrant (Fluorescent and Visible) inspections with Level II certifications for each.
  • Performed detailed inspections of various welding processes to ensure compliance with industry standards of GTAW, SMAW, SAW, and GMAW welds of varying materials such as aluminum, HY-80, HY-100, inconel, monel, and stainless steel.
  • Familiar with NAVSEA T9074-AD-GIB-010/1688 and NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 requirements for inspections, MIL-STD-2035A, MIL-STD-271, D1.1, D1.2, among others.

  • Conducts NDT inspections for the HIMARS, THAAD, M-270A2, PAC-3 MSE missile, GMLRS missile, and ATACMS missile programs.
  • Certified calibration lab specialist- Calibrates all onsite tools ranging from precision measuring equipment, multi meters, scales, torque wrenches, GO/NOGO plug gauges, and thread gauges. Also conducts load cell testing on cast and machined parts. Skilled with the Pratt and Whitney Super Micrometer.
  • Chemical composition testing with titrations of chemicals such as Alodine and aluminum etch acid.
  • Conducts controlled atmospheric heat testing of classified missile coatings by measuring the ohm resistance during testing.
