- As a member of Dakota's Medical Academy, I have had an enriching experience as a PCT Student on the following units: 35, surgical pre-/post- op, ER, 56, and transport. I have experience with assisting NAs with tasks such as vital signs, blood draws, transportation, comfort care, rounding on patients, maintaining a safe/orderly environment, and more. I have even performed successful CPR, illustrating my ability to respond to emergency situations. Through this role, I have demonstrated my proficiency in patient care, safety, communication, and phlebotomy, which are necessary skills for a PCT.
