I moved into Luxury beauty advisor from Prestige beauty advisor in a few short months of being employed at Ulta. I love working with the team and creating and inspiring relationships with customers. As well as building those relationships, I coach the beauty advisors to build the basket, shade match, skincare knowledge, hair product knowledge and hold in store events. I love goals and the outcome of them. With that I talk daily about hitting the goals we strive to achieve. I have coached hair stylist to walk the floor to self-prompt their talents as well as helped in Redken color formulating and techniques. As a temporary keyholder I learned more about Ulta team and leadership. Assisting the management team with counting tills, checking timecards and paperwork. As I grew behind the chair, I decided to dedicate my time with a well-known fundraiser called St. Baldricks. I wanted to share more of my passion and love of life to an event I knew would change many lives and as well as mine. For the 8 years that my staff and i volunteered I really grew more in love with working as a team and decided to take a leap into management. As manager and hair designer I personally coached and developed 3 stylists behind the chair, one of those stylists now runs her own two chair studio. With the training from marketing and social media classes, I learned how to better advise the business and my personal work.
