I am the mother of 4 children, and I worked at the New Image Salon as a hairdresser until I got pregnant with our 3rd child. Due to child care, along with my husbands work schedule being too crazy, it made sense to stop and stay home. As a mom of 4, multitasking is something I do well. My husband is a retired State Trooper and worked a lot of long days, so I was alone with the kids a lot. So I am independent , as well as a fast learner. I kept myself mentally together by knitting and crocheting, as well as volunteering at our towns parks and rec by teaching middle school aged kids how to knit and crochet. Now that my children are older, I decided to go back to school and get back out there in the work force. The Healthcare field has always interested me because I love taking care of people. That is why I went with phlebotomy. I want to start there and grow in the medical field.
