Summary

As an occupational therapist, I value developing a strong therapeutic relationship with clients. I enjoy collaborating with clients to develop relevant, meaningful goals. I find communicating with the interprofessional team an important step to facilitate the creation of innovative, effective treatment options. I place importance in further problem-solving to adapt/ modify my treatment plan to encourage client progress as this increases client engagement in meaningful occupations, which is an extremely rewarding aspect of my role.

I am currently employed by Mayo Clinic as a mental health occupational therapist. I work in the inpatient and outpatient setting with individuals across the lifespan. Prior to this, I completed my doctorate during which I worked with the adult mental health, geriatric, and pediatric populations in multiple settings.
