Assist provider and other clinical staff with obtaining vital signs, prepare patient for examination, treatment and minor procedures.

Provide appropriate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic health record using standardized workflows and processes.

Responsible for assisting patient with follow up appointments, testing and procedures.

Complete appropriate forms or requisitions needed for referrals or testing, including appropriate CPT/ICD-10 coding.

Assume primary responsibility for the plan of care for patient.

Perform admission assessment process, stabilize newborns at time of delivery.

Assume responsibility for developing a plan of care that is mutually established with the patient and family.

Provide new mothers with physical and emotional postpartum needs.
