Reliable Shift Leader at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill with a proven ability to thrive under pressure. Known for exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude, however am looking for a job in the hospital workplace. I believe I am a good fit for this because I excel in patient care, leveraging my problem-solving abilities and clinical experience to enhance team performance and patient satisfaction. Everyday is a new opportunity to give the best care to each patient and it’s something I truly take pride in and love doing.
I have been working at Dairy Queen now for almost 5 years. I started off as an up front crew member. I slowly got moved around the store to whatever position needed me most. I pretty quickly became a shift leader and was a very reliable worker. I work very well with customers and everyday people. Working under pressure has never been a struggle or an obstacle for me.
I worked at Kwik Trip for a little over a year. I mainly worked up front in customer service because of my bubbly personality and ability to easily converse with people. I had preformed many daily tasks, such as stocking, cleaning, sweeping, dishes, and also worked in the kitchen a couple times. I worked at this store as a second job and would only work 2-4 days a week.
An acquaintance I have had a friend whose mother was sick and struggling with dementia. They didn’t want to have to move her to a nursing home so I was hired to take care of her until it was decided it would be best to move her. I would help wash her, prepare her meals, take her on walks, do her laundry, help care for her dog, handle her medication and when she needed to take it, and overall try to keep her in a good mood. It was a job I didn’t have for very long but I enjoyed it very much and it helped me get my foot in the door for patient care of an older age group.
Noodles and Company was my first job. I started off up front working with customers because of my ability to easily communicate with people. I very quickly was moved to every position around the store and became a reliable team member. I would stay late very often, work doubles, and worked quite a bit during peak covid. I ended up quitting because I never got a raise after being there for over a year.
Currently enrolled and am taking classes. Originally was in the program for my first year and first semester in fall of 2023. Unfortunately I did not pass a class but had the to option to come back the following year and retake the class. I had then spent my semester off cracking down on what I needed to do better at. This time around I am much more confident in my studies and in the clinical setting. As well as applying myself in much better ways and achieving the best grades I possibly can. I love the hospital setting and it’s something I’m very excited to continue to be able to work in.
