Personal Statement

Following the Summer of 2022 and my Pacific Crest Trail Backpacking trip, I fell ill for several months and was eventually diagnosed with Lupus and CFS/ME. I spent several months in bed immunocompromised and sewed, wrote articles, and learned both digital and film photography to pass the time. Now that I am in recovery, I am still balancing both work and health and while others may see this as a disadvantage, I see this as proof of the perseverance, diligence, and discipline that resides in me and will set me apart from other employees.
