Volunteer Experience
- I was a member of Phi Mu Phi Delta since January 2021. This organization is filled with different leadership and volunteer experiences. Our philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and we also volunteered with the Believe in Tomorrow House in Ocean City. I also was our Senior Experience chair, organizations events for the seniors before they leave. As well as being our Parliamentarian, this position is to make sure everyone is at events, has the proper attire for certain events, and also make sure everyone is giving their full attention during meetings and events. I also was a 'Big Sister' to a new member. These positions have shown me leadership, organization, and communication skills. Having a leadership role as well as giving back to others has helped me grow into a powerful, strong person. Helping me with leadership roles later in life.
- In Spring 2022, I assisted my sorority and other groups on campus cleaning up Salisbury. Every organization was assigned areas in Salisbury that needed to either be cleaned up or worked on. My sorority went along the street picking up any type of trash we saw. Once we were done we then went to other locations where other organizations were assigned and helped them finish their project. This event helped our sorority grow as a team but also gave myself and everyone a feeling of leadership. We were able to help out in a small way to keep our town safer and more welcoming.
Life Goals
Once graduating and receiving my RN. My hope is to get a Registered Nursing position in the operating room. After some experience, hopefully I will go back to school to become a first assistance.
