I am a passionate teacher with experience in developing and implementing diverse curriculums covering a wide range of subjects. I love to motivate students through positive encouragement and an interactive classroom.   • Implemented a coin reward system that I had used when teaching 2nd grade. All first grade teachers saw that it improved their test scores after also implementing the system into their classrooms.
  • Taught students subject-specific material and learning strategies.
  • Prepared and administered grade-specific tests and examinations regulated by school district to monitor students' growth and to report progress to parents.
  • Built positive relationships with parents.

  • Worked in a Model Arts School, that was required to integrate the arts into lessons and provide examples and standards that showed how art enhanced the learning experience.
  • Saw a need for a PBS reward system and used coins as not only a reward for desired behavior, but also help the students gain a better understanding of the different types of coins and how to use them to buy different rewards.
  • Provided regular feedback to students on progress made in the classroom.
