Managing a patient load of 3-4 patients while maintaining policies specific to facility site. Assessing, prioritizing, and implementing strategies for best patient outcomes using data driven best practices. Travel ER RN with a patient ratio of 3:1. Responsible for care of patients from neonate to geriatric, low level trauma, various respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurologic emergencies. Responsible for the safe triage of patients and determination of acuity level based on patient's presentation and RN triage assessment.

Travel RN (per diem). Patient assignment ratio of 3:1. Responsible for the safe care of patients in all developmental stages. Collaborated closely with a team of healthcare providers to ensure patient received care and testing in a timely manner. Updated provider and care teams on changes and any adjustments needed based on patient status to ensure highest possible patient outcomes.

Part of a state crisis outreach to facilities overwhelmed by COVID losses. Responsible for the safe care of patients in a hospital with ER boarding patients unable to move to inpatient beds due to lack of space. Required excellent triage, prioritization, and problem solving skills as well as interpersonal skills and ability to work as a cohesive, helpful team member.

Travel RN responsible for the care of low income and at risk patients in a county hospital. High traffic and high crime area with significant trauma numbers daily. Also responsible for psychiatric holds and prison transfers in need of evaluation. Patient ratio of 4:1 with no auxiliary help including phlebotomy, techs, or housekeeping. Room assignment and patient load was solely managed and turned over by primary RN. Required excellent prioritization, interpersonal skills, compassion, and efficiency.

Primary ER RN and charge RN responsible for ensuring department efficiency and safety. Required communication amongst team members, house supervisors, providers, EMS, and others to ensure best patient outcomes. Level III trauma center and the highest number of patients per year in Washington State.

ER RN and NOC shift charge RN. Responsible for the management of RNs and ED techs within the department. Responsible for creating daily assignments, updating schedules, and ensuring best patient outcomes and safety. Level III trauma center with significant number of trauma patients a day. Fast paced environment that required excellent interpersonal skills and communication as well as ability to shift and adjust based on department needs.

Charge RN in LTC facility and ER RN. Responsibilities included triage, assessment, initiating orders based on protocols, medication administration of all forms, review of diagnostic criteria, making recommendations for treatment to providers based on clinical judgement. Reassessing patients and ensuring smooth transition to discharge or transfer from department. Oversaw a team of 4 LPNs and 4 CNAs in LTC facility. Responsible for evaluating patient changes and relaying information to providers in an accurate and timely manner.
