· Ensuring that Veterans are properly scheduled with Providers. · Scrubbing Provider schedules. · Cover Women's Health Clinic, Psychology, Primary Care when needed. · Unit management and oversight Managing the clinicians schedules (canceling and scheduling patients, rescheduling clinics, patient outreach) Patient .

Serve as an initial point of contact for patient, to include, but not limited to, scheduling patient appointments, tracking, reviewing, and responding to electronic orders, consults, and other elements in the electronic medical record and medical systems
Utilize practical knowledge of computerized data entry, information processing systems and software related to patient care, the healthcare system's organization and services, basic rules and regulations governing visitors and patient treatment
Perform medical records, administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical clinic through standard office automation systems. Initiates, locates, annotates, updates, and files patient medical records, and reviews records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with medical facility requirements. Perform daily data quality functions to include End of-Day (EOD) processing, securing Third Party Collection forms, and tracking open encounters. Direct patient check-in and checkout processes. Register beneficiaries into the appointing and registration system, book appointments in primary and specialty clinics, book follow-up appointments, input cancellations, perform call-back reminders to patients and reschedule appointments according to appointing protocols and guidelines.
