Volunteer Experience

  • Volunteered at the library for a few years over the summer. Worked with kids, did activities and helped get them excited to read.
  • Volunteered at the regional food bank to help sort foods.
  • Involved in both parts of the NextGen Albany Med Neuroscience program. Went to classes on zoom, participated in a research project. Gave a 10 minute presentation at the end of the program, also helped with lab work.
  • Involved in a group who raised the highest amount in the capital region of almost $91,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. This was a historical amount raised for Columbia High School. We planned fundraisers and events in support for the campaign, and volunteered in support of the cause against cancer.
