I was a seasonal worker at Nordstom's for many years. I started off as a clean up person, who helped to keep the department organized during sales, then I moved on to cashier, and eventually, I worked in sales.
I transferred to this store, because of a move to San Diego. I was placed in the dress department, and I sold from all departments, and offered my services as an instore interpreter.
I started a floater in the store, till I found the department that I wanted to have a permanent position in, which was European Designers. Since I knew the merchandise of the entire store, I sold from all departments, and assisted with the studio department, which helped choose clothing for tv and film.
