In this job I worked closely with the owners of Airbnb and VRBO rentals. I was trusted to provide a clean orderly environment for the renters, and keeping the owners aware of needed maintenance. I cleaned each room properly and used great effort in detail. I made efforts to ask questions and observe what the owners preferred in cleaning methods and products. I took pride in treating each rental as if it were my own, and taking every opportunity to make the rentals look nice.

I applied for a $1,300 loan at 13 years old, with the loan I bought my first momma cow. I ran the cow with my dad’s cattle operation and over the next 3 years I worked to pay the loan with the money from the cows calves. When I turned 15 I acquired a larger loan and purchased more cattle at this point I owned 10. I paid off the loan in 2013, this was a huge success for me. Due to my husband’s job change we moved out of state and sold all the cattle.

This job gave me the opportunity to learn customer service and basic secretarial duties. We used various program’s to schedule reservation’s , find the best availability's for the customer, and locate reservations. From this job I learned how to communicate openly, honestly, and with kindness to the customer. I also had the opportunity to help resolve scheduling conflicts and find peaceful solutions to said conflicts.
