Rachel Gibson

Assisted in residential design projects, as well as one commercial design project for Troy Lumber Company. Sat in on consultations, helped with space planning, furniture planning, color schemes, and flooring decisions.

Responsible for teaching water safety and swimming strokes to children ages 3-16.

• Responsible for communication and collaboration with student-athlete on the swim team and the campus SAAC
• Help coordinate SAAC activities to improve cohesiveness and relationships between student-athletes in all campus sports
• Attend all SAAC meetings and participate in SAAC activities
• Serve as a community leader and mental health advocate
• Participate and plan fundraisers for the benefit for mental health in student athletes

• Worked as a team to create an efficient process for the event
• Organized concession stand for week long basketball camp
• Developed strong communication skills while providing customer service to visitors at the basketball camp
• Provided a clean environment for food/snack sales for the entirety of the camp

• Provided Thanksgiving meals to under privileged families in the community

• Was appointed to lead and work a booth selling NCDSA T-Shirts with profits going to the alliance
