My position provides assistance in reassuring product conformance to customer specifications, identifies quality issues during product launches, performs layout inspections as well as providing support of the PPAP process.

As an Engineering Tech I would support process optimization initiatives by collecting and analyzing operational data, document process workflows and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.

Provides support to the Quality Department through in process dimensional checks, final audits and MRB.

Assists in customer required annual layouts, data collection for studies such as capability and gage R&R's as well as measuring incoming tooling.

Experienced with use of micrometers, manual CMM's, destructive testing, MPI, density scales, operating several Zeiss, drop indicators, video comparators, traditional comparators, and many other miscellaneous gauging

Operated various lathes to achieve a diversity of machined geometry over the 19 years in that department.

Self sufficient in tool changes and lathe adjustments.

Measured in process checks to insure a quality product.

Monitored various molding presses for necessary adjustment and provided in process checks to ensure a quality product.
