Escudo Latino, CARES Food Pantry (09/2021, 12/2021) EUGENE, OR

  • Program responding to COVID-19 and the rise of food insecurity. Team of two to three volunteers greeting families and filling out food-specification forms, assembling individualized food boxes to accommodate weekly groceries per family, and loading food into families' vehicles. Average 15-25 families served per three hours.

Black Unity, Clothing Drive Volunteer (10/2020, 04/2021) EUGENE, OR

  • Organized the event space, including accessibility, fluidity, and displays. Independently facilitated entrance to the Clothing Drive Event: Greeted high-volume attendees, recorded demographic information per individual in either English or Spanish languages, and facilitated additional services to the needs of attendees prior to entrance when necessary.
