  • Works with the Demand Planning Team to create production schedules that have adequate material requirements.
  • Manages, plans, and orders over 80 imported and domestic raw materials for two factories, one on each coast.
  • Tracks imported raw materials by container number for up to 200 open purchase orders at one time.
  • Manages and ensures all paperwork for imported and domestic raw materials is accurate and received on time. Paperwork, which includes COA, NOP Organic Certifications, BOL, and Delivery Orders and weight certificates.
  • Orders, plans, and manages juice tankers into both factories for multiple raw materials. Working closely with plant managers to ensure timely delivery of live offloads.
  • Working with cross-functional teams, such as Quality, Receiving, Executive Leadership, and Planning, to ensure the smooth execution of new material planning processes.
  • Minimizing costs while ensuring optimal inventory levels when transporting goods from plant to plant.
  • Works with the finance team to track and control material costs. Responsible for approving all invoicing to ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Creates strong relationships with vendors and provides forecasts from a 30-day view up to 1 year to maintain inventory levels.
  • Works closely with Sr. Procurement Manager to maintain and approve all Blanket Purchase Orders in NetSuite.
  • Strategically pulls from blanket purchase orders to maintain inventory levels for two manufacturing facilities.
  • Collaborates with Quality and R&D teams to create BOMs (Bill of Materials) when using new countries of origin and new raw materials. Responsible for ensuring that correct BOMs are being used in Work Orders before being sent to the plant floor.
  • Uses my 6 years of working in the plant to help corporate employees understand the limitations and capabilities our manufacturing facilities have.
  • Solely manages our last co-packed items, Santa Cruz Organics applesauce line. Works with two manufacturing facilities to produce eight SKUs of applesauce. Works include forecasting, ordering, arranging freight to each plant in truckload quantities, and managing inventory levels of packaging.
