  • I was responsible for answering the multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate staff member when necessary, answering citizens questions and providing accurate information while also being available to address any complaints
  • Typing, filing, and maintaining accurate inventory, answering and directing telephone calls, providing general departmental information, and assisting in processing requests for development information
  • Following up with different citizens and vendors in regards to appointments, financial discussions and providing requested information

  • Managing office inventory which included working with vendors to ensure our supplies were consistently stocked and delivered as well as monitoring department expenditures

  • Some of my duties include answering phones, transferring phone calls to different agents using a multi line system, entering title bonds, discussing with clients what we need in order to get title bonds approved, making client profiles based on who buys a title bond or an insurance policy, receipting payments, invoicing clients accounts, gathering information from potential clients and giving it to an agent to hopefully gain a new insured, gathering information from insureds regarding claims and inputting those claims in for them either via computer or via phone with a claim's specialist if the company they were with didn't offer online claim input, inputting and attaching all the documents from clients in AMS, creating suspenses and documenting every action made by making activities in AMS, maintaining multiple filing systems electronically and traditionally, reading declaration pages to gather details such as endorsements or mortgage company information, go over insurance renewals for current customers as far as endorsements and why their premium may have increased and letting the agents know if it's increased substantially to the point where we may be at risk of losing them to a competitor or where I think they may need to be shopped for a better deal or a discount could be added to lower their premium
  • Other duties include but are not limited to answering customers questions, taking payments, faxing documents, scanning documents, speaking to other insurance companies to get their assistance in doing certain things for our insureds (I.E
  • Removing a late fee on a mortgage billed homeowners insurance policy, extending the due date for a homeowners policy because the mortgage company was late making the payment or the auto policy because the customer just lost their job, etc), keeping up with inventory of the office, being responsible for multiple email accounts and incoming as well as outgoing mail
  • Some of the different computer systems I have learned and/or use while working are AMS, DocuSign, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Snip-N-Sketch, 8x8, CaptureOnTouch, Adobe, and multiple different insurance company websites
